Meeting the boyfriend

This happened a few years ago and nobody but me knows the truth....

It happened over the internet. I was studying abroad and he was too. One was north, the other was south. He was sweet. Very sweet indeed. That morning, we talked like we had known each other for ages. It was a 'love at one sight' thing. Having being single for a long time, I fell for it when he proposed over the cyber world. All it took was less than 24 hours and I was no longer single. Yes, I was naive. Boy, you could never imagine how happy I was when I was no longer single. Practically everyone was attached and I had to be the lamp post most of the time. It sucked when I saw my friends and their partners being so lovey-dovey to each other. All I wanted was a boyfriend.. and I got him that day.

He told me he came from a rich family but his parents didn't spoil him. He had to work to earn pocket money.

Everything started off nice and... erm.. pretty fast. He sent me loads and loads of presents. He wrote me long, long emails. He wrote me poems. He made cards for me. That was romantic. I spent most of my time on the internet, chatting with him. The longest record was from about 9pm to 7am the next day- a 10 hour record. We were chatting non-stop!!

Few months later, he came over to see me. On the day when I went to meet him at the airport, I was nervous, I was scared. I was worried that he would never come and I would go back home devastated, sad and embarrassed. I had told my mates how loving this boyfriend was and they were looking forward to meeting him.

At the airport, he took quite a while to come out. Deep down my heart, I was praying and praying and praying that he would turn up. When he walked out of the arrival gate, I could not stop smiling. I remember I was shivering when I hugged him- I was too excited I guess.

The first kiss.... I can still remember vividly.

After hugging for some time, he kissed me. I was too shocked. I had never been kissed! I opened my eyes for a few seconds and suddenly I remembered what I read in one of the many forwarded emails- Close your eyes when you kiss. That was what I did after that. :P

We took a train home. We were kissing each other on the train- It sure was a good practice. I learnt what French kiss was there and then. :P

When we arrived at my place, we were glued to each other... and within a few hours, two became one....

But the cherry wasn't popped then.....
